Women in Public Finance XXXXXX Chapter Scholarship
About the Program
Women in Public Finance Chicago Chapter (“Chicago WPF”) is a non-profit, educational, and professional networking organization for women in the public finance industry, specifically throughout Chicagoland. Governed by a 15-member board of directors representing the areas of finance, banking and law, the organization also sponsors a variety of philanthropic events in support of women.
In support of its mission, Chicago WPF plans to award up to three scholarships: the Dana Marinacci Scholarship ($2,000) for women students interested in public finance with a focus on government, the Founder’s Scholarship ($1,500) for women students interested in all scopes of finance, and the Miró Scholarship ($1,000) open to women students with an interest in financial services. This year we are also adding an additional new element to the scholarships. Those awarded will also receive ongoing mentorship and access to a limited number of Chicago WPF educational and social events in the upcoming year.
Send all completed scholarship packets via e-mail in PDF format to [email protected] no later than 5:00 P.M., Chicago/Central Time, on Friday, July 30, 2021.
